Motorcycle tours wales - royal enfield

Carmarthenshire is known as the Garden of Wales with lush rolling hills and river valleys, the roads following a trail alongside medieval castles and battlefields of Welsh Princes. Indeed, it is the Principality’s most culturally important county, encapsulating the essence of the real Wales – from Dylan Thomas’s Laugharne to the wilds of Owain Glyndwr’s forests and mountains. This is a county rich with culture and a fascinating history.

The Pembrokeshire coastal National Park combines the rugged drama of its cliff top roads with golden beaches and secret bays.  Within the space of a few miles Pembrokeshire can take you to extremes: from  the bustling  seaside town of Tenby to hidden gems  like Barafundle bay,  St Davids’ with its ruined Abbey, or the surfers hangout  at Whitesands.

But what distinguishes this part of Wales is its roads.  The country has always been a magnet for motorcyclists, the highways and by-ways buzzing with two wheeled traffic when the sun comes out.  And this western side of Wales offers a wide variety of terrain, from sweeping rolling B-roads, mountain climbing back-roads, to the meandering rolling pleasures of the open high ways that will enthuse and invigorate. You will always be challenged and yet never out of your depth, regardless of ability, as there is a ride experience to suite all. It’s as if the roads and routes here have been designed with the artistry, and the sheer enjoyment of riding a motorcycle in mind. The pleasure of touring - of riding a motorcycle, not racing the traffic - of appreciating the view - of being part of the scenery, not merely watching it flash by.

The roads of West Wales are some of the best for motorcycle tours in the UK - and best discovered on the characterful Royal Enfield. What are you waiting for?
